Sharad Sharma

Sharad Sharma’s personal mantra is to lead big and small companies through orbit change. Most recently he was the CEO of Yahoo! India R&D and was responsible for emerging markets engineering and several key global products. His 23+ years of experience in internet, software and wireless sectorsinvolves a turnaround (of VERITAS India ops), a startup (now part of Cisco), and an intrapreneurial

setup of AT&T/Lucent’s R&D in India. He is an evangelist for developing technology product businesses in India and participates in efforts to nurture the supporting ecosystem. He is part of the Governing Council and a Co-Founder for iSPIRT (Indian Software Product Industry RoundTable), actively mentor startups, and speak frequently on industry issues.
