Eddie Soulier

Professor, University of
Technology of Troyes

Eddie SOULIER is a graduate of the Grenoble Institute of Political Science, and also has a degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics at Grenoble Alpe University. He holds two post-graduate diplomas in Political Theory and Industrial Economics. He worked as an information systems representative for ten years at CIGREF, which is a major French companies and public administrations association for information systems in France.

The areas of his application range from energy systems (such as local energy communities), service modelling (Service science, management, and engineering, SSME) and customer experience, to controversy management for the ecological transition, process mining, territorial intelligence or Smart City modeling and innovation ecosystems. Recently, he has become increasingly interested in the links between the characterization of the economic system, fundamental ontology and the question of politics. This covers also, for example, criticism of artificial intelligence or surveillance capitalism (Zuboff) and ethics in relation to ontology.
