Dr Shyam Sundaram

Dr Shyam Sundaram, a Fellow under the iSPIRT Foundation, with over 30 years of global leadership experience in data science and technology innovation is currently the Chief – Digital Platforms at Bajaj Finserv, a leading financial services enterprise in India. He leads the development and deployment of end-to-end machine learning/AI and graph/business ontology based capabilities for various production business use cases. He has a PhD in computer science with a specialization in applications in healthcare, and has worked with leading brands such as Tata AIG, NTT Data, and SRA International (now GDIT). He is also a regular speaker, trainer, mentor and volunteer at industry forums and adjuntct professor (computer science) at educational institutes. He is an avid community data scientist and technologist who works on open source projects with a focus on areas such as Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), AI/ML/Data, Graph and Data empowerment and protection architecture (DEPA). He is passionate about leveraging data science and technology innovation to create value and impact for businesses and society.
