Vanessa Nurock

Professor of Philosophy at Côte d’Azur University

Vanessa Nurock is Professor of Philosophy at Côte d’Azur University and Deputy Director of the Center of Research in the History of Ideas (CRHI). She is the Chair holder of the UNESCO EVA Chair, where her work sits at the intersection of ethics, politics, science, and education.

Her research addresses issues such as justice and care, gender, animal ethics, and the ethical and political challenges raised by artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies. Her current work focuses on the environmental implications of AI and new technologies, contributing to global debates on responsible and sustainable innovation.
