
Harshit Agrawal
Creative Tech at Google Arts and Culture
Harshit Agrawal is an Indian artist working at the intersection of art and artificial intelligence, exploring the poetics of technology and how emerging systems shape contemporary culture. A graduate of the MIT Media Lab and IIT Guwahati, he has been working in AI and creative expression for over a decade.
He was Google Arts & Culture’s first Artist-in-Residence in India and has exhibited internationally at leading museums and festivals, including Ars Electronica and Tate Modern. Harshit held India’s first solo exhibition of AI art and has been shortlisted three times for the Lumen Prize. In 2023, he received the Sanatan Sangeet Puraskar for Digital Art. His work is held in major international collections and has been featured by the BBC, The New York Times, and Artnet.
